Pan Left, Pan Right (a.k.a. Four Square) runs four scenes simultaneously: each one built on a different suggestion, rotating in and out based on calls from the emcee. It's quick, it's kinetic, and it rewards players who can establish something fast and take it somewhere fun. Get it right and it feels like magic. Get it wrong and it's a very busy mess.
In this workshop, you'll get inside the structure: how the game moves, what makes it actually funny, what kills it, and how to be the player (or caller) who makes the whole thing sing. Peter will walk through setup,…
